I was absolutely blown away during lunch today by, the webpage of the Sisters of Carmel of the Resurrection, in Indianapolis. The sisters have a PR agency that is helping them recruit new members — there are only 11 of them, and their average age is 70. It has been 12 years since anyone new joined their order.

The most fascinating part of the webpage is The News, which is updated once a week. The sisters choose one news item from the previous week, and then several of them post their prayers about it. While I might wish for a little more meat (and higher frequency), the sisters’ perspectives are fresh and surprising.
